Does Ethiopia have a richer history than Somalia

Genuine question

No Ethiopian would ask this kind of question and compare Ethiopia with Somalia. Why the need to compare? Anyway, I heard the first mention of Somali was in chronicle of an Abyssinian emperor.
:francis:
How about learning and appreciating each other's history like these Ghanian tourists in Gondar do?

The question makes no sense because Somalia and Ethiopia were created recently

If you are asking about habeshas and Somalis than ima say Somalis get the slight edge

We were trading with ancient Egypt before the habeshas even entered Africa

Also Abbysina doesn’t equal Ethiopia
When you read of abbysina a lot of the time it’s in reference to the whole horn.
Likewise if you read about Ethiopia a lot of the time it’s in reference to all of Africa. Habeshas on average are 5’6

So in your opinion @Pipit , you are seeking answers by comparing raw meat injirleeys with brainless marauding nomads(yes they have brain deficiencies), doesn't that outrage you a little bit since you're bringing up these conflicting contrasts .
According to historians and philanthropologists they've written entire archives about Abbysinians and it was only a recent discovery where they first mentioned Geeljires but painted them negatively , to this day they are less frequently discussed about.
Perhaps it's all a coincidence since these xoolos are Muslims and seen as a threat, they'll be depicted no matter how you solidify your historical existence , there are individuals that are keen on dismissing the realities and often project and display these distorted versions of alternate histories to boost their own biases.
Unfortunately Somalis were an oral society stories were passed from generation to generation instead of archiving their historical existence on scripts( which is significant and a crucial role of a nations existence) these are illiterate xoolos worse than their neighbouring livestocks (atleast those injirleeys wrote in Geez)
, the British , Italians and French saw their stupidity (qabiil and caste) as a leverage and used it further to divide the dysfunctional communities.

Hence Religion also played a major role impacting the societal social structure
If a14th century Geeljire was revived from the dead saw today's Geeljire , I bet you that he'll retch to death out of sheer dissapointment our ancestors would have regretted procreating their seeds

Today we are seen as bootleg wannabe arabs with no culture where the transexual self hating @Cyrus and @Shmurda are paving the way for degeneracy and it's not only them every Somali are self haters today don't let their nationalist stunts fool you

Somalis don’t even border the Red Sea or Habeshas :drakewtf: how’s that possible?

why are you so pissed all the time?
Somalia is at the exit of the Red Sea lmao, and before there was no strait to get through Egypt so they had to go our way. We didn’t let em, and traded with India ourselves. Somalia had a navy as well, fun fact. That’s why Portugal couldn’t colonize us in the 1500’s.
