Does anyone here have knowledge about Somali martial arts, warfare, military tactics, and/or warrior’s code ?

I know a little bit, such ladgin(?) and another that’s similar to judo. My dad use to tell me that martial arts is very important in his family (clan) . His folks’ martial art philosophy was similar to Bruce Lee’s and practices being pragmatic mixed with Sunni Islam, Donatism and Waaqism/Amazigh spirituality. Does any have any information about Istunka?

There's sabaaxad, which is like judo/throwing. But it's not really a martial art because it's not codified or practiced.

The top one isn't all Somali. That's a Sudanese Kaskara on the far right, for instance. And the far left likely isn't a Somali sword.

Most likely images of Beja nomads misattributed as Somali nomads by people online or in rare cases even by cadaan ethnographers. The Kaskara was widespread in Sudan and Chad but not really a thing in the Horn.
