It was done so we can join the Arab league also many people can understand it and talk in it

If that's true that's just sad. Arabic should only be used in religious contexts (i.e. reading and understanding the Quran) nothing more, otherwise our original language/culture will slowly but surely be wiped out. No wonder people back home think they're Arabs lol.

I know a lot of Somalis who are age from 7 - 25 and most of them speak perfect Arabic or at least a decent amount.

If you go to school you also have 10 periods of Arabic and Islamic Study in a week.

And only 3 periods of Somali study
