If there was a strong sovereign Somalia do you think they'd have even a fraction of the freedom they have in the horn that they do now?
The horn is just too strategic to leave to some conceited camel herders who would sell them out every other month or so.
They already tried to work with us in the past century but unfortunately our credit score with them is beyond repair.
Now their only option is to make sure that the region isn't used against them somehow.

aren’t they trying to fix the political instability in Ethiopia? Or is this another help the Christian Ethiopians and harm the Muslims.
