It’s obviously levels; siblings and friends stage vs reaching the parental stage. But I’m super close with my mom. She’s known about a lot more, selectively though. My brothers have been open with her as well. For me, the level of serious where everyone in the fam knew about happened twice. Once, it was a completely tumultuous, the other time it was the polar opposite lol. Even if they saw signs, the rest didn’t reach that level of formal introduction.
