Isn't there a small chance your vision could be messed up by the surgery. Were you scared?

I wear both contact lenses and I have glasses too but i don't usually use them except for when i am at school or reading

My father and his uncles are all long sight. Which made me long sited.

It is only out of all my brothers and sisters that has glasses.

I wear them when I feel like it.

Yeah I heard it's something like 0.0001%. Have a thorough conversation with the doctor that does LASIK beforehand. If you want to be super diligent, get an eye exam from an independent doctor and show it to them when they're examining you. In my case I wanted to get rid of glasses at all costs. lol

Some people go to other countries to get it done for like $500 countries like SK. 3000 is a lot of money but I am scared of doing it as well.

I wouldn't take shortcuts or worry about the price if I were you. I'd look for established, respected doctors and have an indepth discussion about your situation.
