Do you think people are obsessed with Interracial Relationships?

I'm sure this has existed before but I've seen an upsurge in Obsession of Interracial Dating ever since that Love Island USA has gone clear.

Not saying there's anything wrong with it, but it's just something I've noticed.

I'm sure this happens to Cadaans but I've noticed a Common Trend amongst Ethnic Communities where the Ethnic Men and Women both engage in Brutal Gender Wars only to flex on one another that they find an Cadaan more attractive than one another to make the other jealous or annoyed, I've seen this way to often in Online Disputes for it to not exist as crazy as it sounds.

Even with Somalis to a degree as much as I hate to say it, I've seen full Gender Wars where both the guys and girls just tear each other apart and then end up glazing cadaans and these xoolo have even created the phrase "if it ain't cadaan, it ain't macaan" and use this viciously against one another?

But still I don't think it's as bad as other groups but you see some Somalis slowly testing the waters.

But Moreso on other groups especially on social media, you see this undying obsession with interracial dating.

Interracial is a beautiful thing. No one should be ashamed of it. Same thing in marrying your own nothing wrong with marrying a white women, black women (different ethnic group), Asian women. As long as you raise your kid Somali by teaching their culture it’s okay.

Inter-racial "relationships" is for people who couldn't get partners from their community. They carry stigma that don't fit the norms within their communities. So they look for acceptance elsewhere.

I get what you're coming but interracial relationships come with a cost.

Social Dynamic between families, Cultures not compatible and etc

I really do understand where you coming from but people shouldn't be blind to the problems that it can lead to and be ignorant about it (not saying you are but just for people in common)

A lot of POC live/work in areas where their main dating options are whites. They aren't living in areas filled with men and women from their ethnic groups.

Depending on where you live in the west only a few minority ethnic groups will actually have large communities within your country.

Like for example Mexicans are everywhere here in america. The further south you'll go the more Mexicans you will find. Madows are the same way. The further south you'll go the more Madows you'll see. You can find Asians in every major city in america. Especially Indians.

A large amount of young minorities raised in the west aren't being raised in communities packed with people from their own race/ethnic group. So as these people grow older a lot of them will strongly consider dating out. Especially if they grew up in a household where parents didn't care about who you brought home. Plus a lot of these kids aren't exactly that cultured to begin with. Their parents didn't strongly emphasize teaching them their language or having them hang out with other kids of the same ethnicity.

Of course yet I’ve seen it work despite those setbacks( which is why I find it even more beautiful) . If the couple communicate effectively then those issues will be resolved over times however it can be a disaster if two people blindly go in to it without considering those issues.
