I personally think they lack empathy and mercy. Look at how China treats anyone who believes in God and Muslims and Christians,and how North Korea persecutes anyone who says they believe in God,even if this person doesn't have a religion.

No. Morality is found within humanity. If God gave you a soul, then the disbelief in Him doesn't remove that. So they have morality.

How does an atheists lack morality when we the non religious as a whole are under-represented in prison statistic. Go look at your wonderful religious person and they're statistics of imprisonment. They are the ones always doing filthy things not atheists. So atheist are more moral then religious people in my opinion when you study the data on incarceration. Religious people just put on a show they are moral, where-as atheist have no show on and are the real deal.

The question you should be asking yourself is who lacks empathy the kufur who accepted you in their land or the muslim who were killing each other. As i said religion rarely does anything to provide people morality, as i am assuming you are Muslim and Islam supports slavery. Is that Moral to you or not?

Culture and the environment plays a role on one morality, For example look at japan who has higher percentage of atheist but still the country is peaceful.

you can also observe religion leaders doing fucked things while being the one who writes down the book people worship.

I said the same in this thread but state atheism is a practice in which a government promotes atheism instead of being neutral on it.

Technically no. When all are born we only know our souls.
Most things we adhere to as good and bad are also choices!
Anybody (and I do mean absolutely anybody)
can do things that are considered morally good or very bad.

People that choose wrong because their lack of faith to be moral allows them to continue rewarding their own ills cos they had already tasted the self gratification from their belief systems in wrong doing. (Example: Why do thugs sell drugs? Cos easy money from poverty.) You get my point.

In that what's said, now, a person who is athiest can also still choose the choice of being a good person. Often times people who enjoy morality also find it a joy to make good choices that are from a healthier outlook on life. Just an athiest might not looked at things so blessed but still it's good to have down to earth people. Anybody can be smart & kind.

A person's belief system doesn't stop common sense being a normality.
