They had a head start. Segregation ended in the 60s in America. They were allowed to seek higher education from already-built universities African countries didn't even get independence until the 70s and 80s, making it extremely hard for Africans to seek higher education. The 21st century is the century of Africa. We have a young population while the average age in the west is 40 something and the mid 30s for Asia.

Some African 'Countries' gained their independence in the 50s and 60s and yet they did absolutely nothing; people need to stop acting like AA are not wealthier or generally more educated than any African population that comes to mind.

Without all the handwork and sacrifice made by the AA community, there's simply no way that blacks would have been accepted into Europe, Australia-New Zealand and Canada.
