Its silly.. I know. But I was obsessed with Matilda growing up ( still kinda am) and loveeddd Matilda, Miss Honey and their beautiful mother-daughter relationship.
I would love to have a daughter and live in a cute little cottage together:mjhaps:
The worst part of this childish dream is a man is not included in the story line!! Im not about to have a child out of wedlock. I'm not putting my child through that. So it has to stay a dream for now, sadly.
Adoption is always an option.
Matilda was cute :banderas: and that's cuz she had intelligence beyond her age :lolbron: that is a cute story line tho you, your daughter, no man, living in a beautiful mansion :westbrookswag:

Why are all the members of this forum so young. My generation is like Shiine Culay, Kabtan Ayub, Duq bilow and maybe Xaliye. I need some odayaal and habro like Somalionline 🤣🤣

Frankly I see the opposite; people who got married early and regret having kids that early, but this might only concern men for the most.

kkkkk Sorry to disappoint you, but most of us are around half your age :francis::manny:

You were expecting advices from us, but it’s the opposite. Most of us appreciates the life lessons from an adeer, and make sure not to make the same mistake. Thanks for the heads up tho:mjpls::westbrookswag:

You guys need to stop lying. 41 is old, The OP is in the same age range as my father. I can't imagine my father spending his free time on Sspot. :jcoleno:

I do. Every time i see my brother's son who is 20 years old. Mashallah very strong big guy who goes to the gym, he lives in another city for his university. So i used to take him to dugsi on the weekends when he was child and teach him Quran in the house so i had every thing i didn't had savings but we don't live in a poor country. Today i wish to retire in somewhere in Arabia im in the UK just for my kids. My oldest child is 6 years old. Wallahi the children is the biggest Raasumaal if you dont have try to be parent as soon as you can. No one will reward you like your children.

How old was your brother when he had his first child?

19 but I'll have kids by 23 Insha'Allah for it was narrated by al-Bukhaari (5066) and Muslim (1400) from Ibn Mas‘ood, who said: We were with the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), young men who had nothing of wealth. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to us: “O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding one’s chastity. And whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a shield for him.”

I don’t have regret over not having children when I was younger. Everything happens by the qadar of Allah.

It’s better to wait for the right person so to set yourself and most importantly your future offspring with a good life. I don’t mean economically good but in terms of giving them their full rights and being capable of providing for them in all aspects. I wasn’t emotionally ready when I was younger so I wouldn’t have been able to give them that aspect. Some people want to mature with their children and others want to be mature before kids are in the picture.

Also, caruur are a huge responsibility as we all know in diinta and I dont want to have them for my own personal gain. They aren’t my retirement plan.
