I'm not sure if she's Somali. Her forehead is not jutting forward enough.

I don't know anyone who had plastic surgery. It is highly invasive. If you are young, it is meant to make you look older. If you are older, it makes you look highly inflamed to create a rounder/fuller appearance reminiscent of youth. Unless you've had an accident or have a congenital or other health condition adversely impacting your quality of life, I don't see the point of reconstructive surgery.

Plastic surgery tends to homogenize people's looks, making them look like carbon copies. Similar face, body, eyes, and so forth.

Not really. Archetypes are hard to fit into, I'd say. A now-famous guy on TikTok who used to have a boyish look ruined his face after trolls encouraged him to get surgeries he didn't need to look more masculine.

She has to be significantly overweight for her face to look that chubby. What’s the point of getting your face snatched if the rest of your body is still big?

I read that it is common for plus-sized models in the industry to do chin liposuction so they have a skinny face that fits the narrow beauty standard but not the body. Barbie Ferreira is an example of such (Kat from 'Euphoria').

I, for one, find it very hypocritical to allow plus-size models for the sake of supposedly expanding the beauty standard and encouraging inclusivity, but forcing them to look skinny in the face where most people's attention is.

1. Women pursue plastic surgery more than men. So, I was discussing the former, not the latter.
2. Instagram models look like they have the same surgeon. They tend to look alike even if they come in different shades.

People should make peace with their looks, IMO. But easier said than done was coined for a reason. It's hard to not feel some type of way about certain things.
