Last eid, I went into the mall to buy my nephew a video game he wanted for eid. While I was in the store paying for it, a Somali guy came in and asked for money. It was really random and I was in a rush. Although I entertained him for a while. He started getting more and more desperate. Like I told him I had no cash at hand, and he tells me to go to the cash point or get cash back from the store. The store I was at didn't offer cash back and I wasn't in the mood to walk around at the expense of my convenience. I ended up asking him how much he wanted from me exactly and he said £20. Which was like the same price as my nephew's video game. I got so angry because it was the most a stranger had ever asked of me. And this Somaliguy was phat, he was an eyaal suuq and just looked so unhygienic. I told me no. And left. Should I be feeling bad for that?

No you shouldn't that nigga is westernized as somalis don't even ask for money bluntly like that. To much pride in them veins, they only accept if you ask them twice.

Yeah, I was wearing shorts, and a tee, for a moment I had to contemplate the prospect of getting robbed by another Somali. He seemed really angry when I refused to give him the money. It was the sense of entitlement too. He was a young man still, perfectly healthy besides his being overweight. Why not humble himself and get a job, he could probably make that money in an hour or two and not have to ask random strangers. A lot of our brothers in the hood lack a humbleness about life. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with working a job and earning a halal income...

Where do you live because in Minnesota we have Somali crackheads and homeless ones who beg for beer money smh
