Mine kinda does. We have a big masjid and basketball court. teens allowed to come in whenever and drop in as it encourages somewhere to stay out of trouble. They do allot of halaqas and activities for the teens as well. You guys got a Somali Rec Centerish area in your community?

Yeah we do. We have clubs, masjids and so on.

There are only ca 7000 Somalis in my country so no, we have nothing of this sort.

in MN, the masjid always collect money to build basketball court/ center for the youth in the community. Once they do, only the men get to use it. They strangely use men and youth interchangeably when they're asking for donations. Honest the somali community is so damn sexist. Always going about "our youth needs this! our youth needs that!" and yada yada yada...... when we finally achieve whatever goal it is, its always for the boys/ men.

We have a big a masjid we converted from a church and a former school next door and we converted it into a youth center, homework help, library, and venue were weddings are held and parties.
