We have this bizarre idea in Sudan that if you shave your mustache off as a man, it makes you look like a f*ggot and less of a man. Just asking if you guys have a similar bizarre concept about facial hair in Somali culture as well.

A lot of Somalis can’t even grow proper facial hair so we don’t really have a ‘facial hair culture’ so to speak. It’s the Nilotic blood.

Personally, I have decent facial hair which I have to say alhamdulillah for since it’s haram to shave. Muslims with patchy and long facial hair just look ridiculous.
