I disagree, he has a doomer mindset. Somalia has made improvements in politics and security, a lot of u guys are forgetting our government was non existent during the 2000s and early 2010s.
What did he say that was a lie, our people are picky when it comes to helping one another theres always conditions that aren't used when they want to help muslims from other countries. Thats all hes talking about, we are lions against eachother but cubs towards outsiders.
He is generalizing Somalis based on personal experience. Somalis in the diaspora are not xaasid, they send remittances back to their families, they invest in businesses and infrastructure projects, they also send money charity donation.
Secondly, Somalis in the diaspora should stop making unfair generalizations of Somalia. Somalis back home want development and progress just like anyone else. To paint them all with a negative brush is counterproductive and rude.
Is this guy even Somali?
Some of you are unable to accept things, take accountability and fix it. Instead its cover your ears and eyes and think that theres no problems within us. Coping will never make our situation better.

You aint lying some people aint rdy for the truth. Ik community leaders who done so much good for the ciyaals hosting events and tournaments n so on but they always get accused off stealing lacag n so on but when a ajnabi host events for their kids they always flock to them like dogs.
Very few Somalis in the west have pride atleast the older gen they defo deep down hate each other bc off qabiil atleast the diaspora born kids has more pride n loyalty towards eachother they realised nobody got their back other than themself.
I respect your honesty, this is how communities grow. Instead of lying to ourselves lets come up with solutions

He’s totally right I don’t think the country will ever develop. The progress they made is insignificant, it’s not even noteworthy to be measured. Think about yourself first.

Spot on, he understands what we are doing wrong. He is right we ARE xaasids, we need to counter this because the long term is more important then the short term.
