It is nice to eat something before it to reduce the acidity. If there is no time, drinking a quick cup of low-fat milk while brewing promotes an alkaline medium. Idk if that is correct scientifically but it helps me.

It is but I usually don’t have time to make breakfast so I throw an apple or banana in my purse as a snack if I’m hungry.
