In one way we kinda do live in a simulation.

For example we started off as a soul in the barzakh (the realm of the souls, our soul visit this place in our sleep and the dead return to that place well atleast their soul).

After that we got placed in our mother's belly by an angel. Thus creating a living human instead of a human body without a soul.

Then we get born and some might call it spawned into this world. Where the stakes are very high. You can feel physically and emotionally. We are forced to feed or our bodies will perish.

And one day your body will seize to operate and you will leave this place called earth.

All in all it truly comes across as a highly crafted simulation.
