Yeah the media has some influence. But attraction is innate for the most. We like what we like.

The media stuff is what demographics like east asian incéls and jareeer femcéls say to cope with being at the lowest position. Physically speaking it doesn't make asian dudes small compared to other men and jareeer women bald/unfeminine compared to other women.

Funny how the English-Americans regarded them as such, when most/large % of American companies have a German-American founder(s) & they made a huge contribution to American culture, since many things have a German origin, but are now regarded as quintessentially 'American'.
