I believe him. This dude was a judge for 26 years and has been thoroughly vetted by the FBI on six different occasions throughout his decades of public service.
It's unbelievable how clean his record is.

But wouldn't you be enraged and angry if your record of a lifetime was clean as hell and all of a sudden your high school classmate remembered an incident 36 years later. No witnesses, no evidence... nothing. Just a politicized statement that can potentially ruin your career and your FAMILY?!! I felt really bad for him and his wife while watching the hearing.

She's not credible at all. She named 4 witnesses and all of them denied the incident. Then she lied about her fear of flying couple of days ago etc. If she lies about that, she could lie about everything. There's no proof that he lied about anything though.

I believe them. The American political scene is such that anything you did in any era of your life is brought to scrutiny by the public. This is simply part of the process, and many have went through it before for lesser accusations and lesser offenses.

Many women live with stuff like this and I could see people being galvanized by a Supreme Court nomination of an individual from their past, which is a decades-long appointment that may bring lasting change to our justice system, making them bring the past incident to conscious enough to come forth to the public with it. Not having reported att has no bearing on falsity in sexual assault, which has such a low reporting rate. One woman is stain enough, the minute she was bolstered by other women was the minute he lost public trust

I was leaning towards sham until I watched both. She came much more sincere than him. Having said that if an accusation is all it takes to make sure someone dont get nomination. Then I expect this to become the norm. I still think he will get nominated in the end

The issue is if we were in a party and I groped you while no one sees it. Then it becomes my word vs your word. With no witnesses or any other prove. Do you think I should be found guilty? Or are we gonna say since the accusation is so bad that even with no prove, we dont want to be associated with you. So you should be punished some how
