Too much challenge and you may feel resigned to defeat, and too much support and you become complacent and take the other party for granted. So, we'd hope someone would be as patient with us as we are with them. I would say communication and regularly clarified expectations are key. You can't do that alone like some Herculean labour. Definitely agree from experience I noticed stability where it be emotional or financial stability is the most important trait a man can have. People prefer someone who is clear, can level with them and effectively communicate, is grounding, loyal and dependable. I always advise people to choose wisely and be very focused on character.
That's a very pessimistic way of viewing love, you might find this clichΓ© but true ever lasting love does indeed exists I've seen it numerous times in my life. One elderly couple who were my neighbours growing up truly loved each other, they knew each other since they were children and died on similar days next to each other happily, and that's only one example. I think the somali diaspora who were either born or live in the west have a very screwed up definition of love, i've noticed some of you view love and marriage as task rather pleasure and its kinda sad.
