Its important to know imo. It can save you a lot of problems with their families. Not saying you should reject someone based on qabil but you need to know their views and the views of their family.

I just say ya tahay. I hate people who try to be sneaky about qabil. Hell even if a stranger asks me I just say who I am. I had never a girl take offense.
