Throughout history and all societies the working classes (ie, farmers, merchants, shoe shiners, coal miners etc) were definitely looked down upon….. but never to the extent where ppl would be convinced that the work such individuals “do” isn’t worthy of yielding enough to support yourself/family. Work was WORK

now compare that to the modern western world where it’s a matter of debate whether people who work as grocery store clerks, janitors, etc deserve enough money to live For example:


Am I the only one that finds the fact that this is almost exclusively a western rhetoric ironic… because the western world supposedly has the highest standards of living blablabla and yet mfs are really expected to work fulltime for nothing in return atleast in a third world country you can set up a shack and live off the land that’s basically illegal in the west tho and it’s cold here to make it worst… anyways does anyone get what im trying to say???

Deadass I dare yall to go to any third world country (ffs even add a good amount of Europe too) and ask the people there…. should someone who works as a grocery store clerk or a janitor be able to feed themselves and have a roof over their head…?

I guarantee you they gonna say yes, some might even be confused what a ridiculous question it is… the western world (USA and Canada in particular) is pretty much the only place on earth where niggas will say no with their full chest

Just thought ab this cuz I went to the grocery store a while ago and the cashier was the sweetest old lady and I thought to myself I hope she got a nice life, home etc….. then I remembered it’s rlly niggas out here arguing she should basically be homeless

Ever since that cancerous consulting firm McKinsey started to gain favor In corporate America in the 90s safety standards were thrown out of the window cause they wanted to cut costs there the reason why Disney world isn’t safe for kids anymore or affordable.
