I doubt there is much variability between tribes IQ wise. I will say that some might put a greater valuation on academic attainment. If you couple that with greater access to institutions of higher learning and better socio-economic conditions, that would facilitate higher scores. If I was a qabilist you know I'd say Gadabursi. Why? A high per capita of academics from this clan and the fact that they love school a little too much. It has something to do with being settled people whereas, many Somalis are still nomadic in their mentality despite being settled. Postive stereotypes also play a role. FYI - IQ is not static, it can change over time. Let's just say most people in society were classified as geniuses, wouldn't that make it difficult to rule them. Not really, high IQ individuals make great employees. They are very conscientious.

Somalis intermarry too much and if you go back three or four generation I can guarantee you have an ancestor that isn't from your qabiil. I can also guarantee you have a cousin of a different qabiil. Download Richard Lynn's study, look at the asterisk behind Somalia, check the source: Ethiopians Jews in Israel, early 90s. They are your people who scored so low.

Also, Somalis are not cognitively homogeneous. There are large differences in IQ between clans.

IQ as a measurement only makes sense when your testing people that have had a decent education, of course a nomad or pastoralist wont be able to answer mathematical or scientific questions, they haven't had that type of education.

Ask them how to skin a goat or raise animals and they'll get a high IQ score.
