I've noticed a trend whereby if a Somali woman is raped by an African AMISOM soldier or a black gangster, there is no condemnation by Somali women at all. They're not even disgusted or appalled.
However, if the rapist is a mentally ill Somali man with a difficult past then there is almost universal outrage and condemnation etc.

So the discussion tonight is, do Somali women practice selective outrage on issues of rape, where there are different standards depending on your race, ethnicity or nationality?

Somali women are selective with their outrage. I've seen it many times.

Hardly any Somali women condemned this when it was happening. There was hardly any outrage. There was no talk of toxic masculinity, no talk about women's rights. Nothing.

This tweet is just highlighting the fact that many Somali women are politically motivated and are discriminatory against their own. They deserve no sympathy.
