Do people recognise you as Somali?

I think I look full Somali but sometimes I hear that I look like something else (like Yemeni or something) because of my skin colour??

The Irir Samaale thing is a myth. Somalia comes from Arabic Zawamal. There was no skinny pirate looking mfer who founded the Somali race. And his founding words weren’t “warya”. That’s a racist myth

By immigrants I’m identified as Somali or Sudanese Arab. By white people I’m from Hawaii or some tropical island.

And Darood make up a HUGE percentage of Somalis. I haven’t met a lot of Somalis tracing their ancestry to one founding father.
