We are their cousins and neighbors. Who cares if they co-opt stuff like the alindi? They don't go around claiming it's theirs and that Somalis stole it or something. And some of the other clothing similarities like the white-robes are shared culture, not stolen. Everyone from Chad to northern Kenya dressed that way once upon a time.

some people are more individually expressive than others
