Marriage is nice but kinda pointless in the great USofA. I suggest everybody work on themselves so you don't have to rely on nobody else.

To all my Farahs: first get your education, get a nice paying job with your degree, pay off loans and car notes, buy your hooya a house, stack up like crazzyy, and when you've saved a good chunk of change (preferably a quarter to a million dollars) then find yourself a nice Xalimo that can help you properly raise your future children. Even tho I'll probably be in my mid-30s when I get married, I'll at least be financially, emotionally, and hopefully spiritually mature.

but I could concede that Somali women hold more certificates and degrees than their male counterparts.

It's an overall trend in gender statistics when it comes education...even cadaan women are graduating faster than their male counterparts.
