Do not care about the ummah

I do not understand why people on this forum cares so much about what goes in other muslim or in Arab countries as i couldn't care less as doesn't effect me and they are not my people. Why people on here ever talk about the oppression and killings of ethnic Somalis in Ethiopia and Kenya while you have disgusting dictator in Djibouti plundering wealth and resources of the country. Bunch of hyporcrites on here the end of the day as i have been lurking on this forum for five years.

My hierarchy of empathy goes like this

1. Somalis Worldwide
2. Muslims Worldwide
3. Oppressed People Worldwide

There is nothing wrong with caring about other muslim groups. Obviously if you want to make a positive impact in the world you going to need to have your house in check first.There is nothing stopping us from having solidarity with other oppressed peoples.

To answer your question, the point of a forum is to have an ongoing dialogue with regards to current events, politics, entertainment …etc I believe the topics you’re looking for is in the political section. Just be sure to have a helmet and regulatory ppl. It’s a war zone there, not meant for the feeble hearted average farax or xalimo! Best of luck in your journey to the dark side!

Nothing wrong with putting your people first but to say u only care about what happens to your people sounds bit absurd if you are muslim.

Being a Muslim means worrying about your brothers and sisters in Islam. Like the hadith above said the Ummah is one body. People can care about many different things at once.
