Do muslim countries need an enlightenment ?

China has adopted a scientific view, after the century of humiliation. Arabs countries have been humiliated for the last 100 years. If we reject science and modernisation we'll be left in the dust. The sad part is, education isn't a top priority in somalia you have teachers literally beating autistic kids because they find memorising quran hard even though it isn't their mother tongue. ignorance needs to be fought by the government.

Religious fundamentalists are holding the country back, after colonialism you'd have expected these colonised countries to learn a lesson about weakness like china did but they haven't.

How will you enlighten people who kill each other in a dusty village and be happy with it You even find a Somali born in America who rejoices in this
Why did enlightenment not reach the Somalis in the West? You know that they have a major role in igniting tribal conflicts.

What does science have to do with "modernization"? Science is merely a practice of the material world, nothing more, and every Muslim-majority country has a science-based department in every school... Stop pushing this ignorant notion that Muslims have this science taboo as if we're in some Christian Dark Ages like medieval Europe, getting oppressed by the corrupt Catholic church that told them to stop observing the sun or whatever else. That has never been the Islamic way or history.

Modernization is a euphemism for liberalism, an ideological movement that does not hold a monopoly on what success is, nor is it a coherent model for it, as we see the social and demographic decline everywhere in the Western and Northeastern Eurasian world.
