Do Ethiopians have more Eurasian ancestry than somalis

I think Somalis have more Eurasian ancestry
Because when I look at the two ethnicities and compare their features
1.Ethiopians have more coily hair while Somalis have softer hair
I always thought Ethiopians had more omotic dna ,does anybody have any sources on Eurasian ancestry comparison in the horn?

Another factor could be that paternal genetics are expressed more, Somalis have the same paternal lineage but have but mixed with other women so our genetics are more gradually changing

Addis Ababa is a cosmopolitan city, you'll find all kinds of Ethiopians from across the country. So it's no surprise you'll run into very Arab/Semitic looking Ethiopians over there.

But the average Ethiopian looks Black African just like Somalis.

You are confusing slightly more admixture for a difference in appearance. You can be blic and 50-60% West Asian and light with 45-50% West Asian. It's not radical enough to shift appearance. I have family members lighter than most Habeshi and have wavier hair but we have lower admixture of Sabbean and Omotic relative to many Somalis. We have zero recent admixture scoring 100% Somali. Ethiopians (Habeshas) have more Eurasian ancestry than Somalis. No one disputes this. Somali’s looks has more to do with climate adaptation than admixture. That’s why even though Ethiopians are more Eurasian genetically, they have more coily hair than us.

Yes I agree Average Ethiopian just as Dark as Somalis but was Surprised with their large minority of light Skin, extremely light, probably just Amhara ethnic group, Oromos just like us

We don’t really know who ethic group has the highest J1 (my money will be afar cuz how close they live with the Arabs) but 99% ethics in the horn fall into African hapalgroup but not semetic one.

Also afar have as much eursian as habesha but tend to be darker then them. It just depends where people live. Somalis and afar live in the hottest areas while habesha really don’t. Make sense why mountain Yemenis (those ain’t mixed with Persian or Turks or others) tend to be lighter then desert Yemenis.

I mean when I entered xamar I’ve seen many Somali that looks arab as Yemeni and south Asian(not cadcad or Bendari) in the same many looking madow. The capital city tend to have many different qabil or ethic
