Do any of you have or want pets?

The only pets I’ve had were goldfish and they never lived long
I love cats and always wanted one but my mom is so scared of them so unless I move out that is not happening. If I could, I’d get a siamese cat because they’re talkative and friendly.

And if I one day have a farm I’d get a St Bernard to herd my farm animals.

so if you guys have pets what kind do you have, and if you don’t do you want any? What kind?

I don't see how owning an animal will provide me with tangible benefits.
Why I don't wanna have a pet for these reasons:

• They require a lot of maintenance.
• They are unhygienic.
• They're expensive to care for.
• They create noise pollution.
• They will damage your house and property.

• You will lose sleep.

Yeah I have a Somali cat and a Persian cat. Sometimes I catch myself favoring one over the other...sneaking extra treats. I know it ain’t right but you can already guess which one

I do want a dog InshaAllah if I end up owning a lot of land. So the dog won’t stay in the house and it’ll protect my property and any other animals I have.

I want a cat but my mom is scared of them. Dogs can f*ck off though I don't like them at all Cats though are pretty low maintenance I fw them. Probably getting one when I move out.
