One Marehan Darod guy scored Haplogroup J on 23andme

100% confirmed.

Thats all the info so far.

It would be good, Im trying to find out his exact subclan since not all marehan are J. A few scored E1b1b1 on Somnet like Advo/Murax.

It is not all, don't be like that, we have 7 million Darood in Somalia and 2 million in ethiopia, 100,000 in Kenya, not all won't receive e1b1b1 but majority would.

We are not chickens tho, but I will answer your question, Daroods are collective tribe a term I made up with real darood making alliances then absorbing them. In land mass term yes, we have most of the land of the horn, you are missing a point. It is not 100% correct.

Puntland have majerteen, K5 have absame (Jiidwaaq, Ogadeen, wayteen and abaskuul), NFD have Ogadeen Makaahil and Cauliyaan, the Gedo got Marexaan.
