I've watched and so do you say that Somali regional government have sent troops to fight alongside the locals?
If not then wouldn't this be not sustainable as it's Afar Federal state + Afar militia vs the Somali locals?
I wish it was that simple. The Chinese built that rail, unless Djibouti has the expertise (they don’t) you can’t just call the Chinese to build one without Ethiopian approval.
The Ethiopian government have been sponsoring these ethnic cleansing since the beginning of time.
I'm saying why isn't there mass mobilisation of Somalis and local Somali government to defend its borders or people?
Afar are united over this but are the Somalis in Ethiopia? That's the question.

Hearing Reports Somali forces were involved recently I'm confusedIf you want to something about this banana republic and failed project, better known as ethiopia: expect nothing of sanity to come out of it. We've tried to resonate with them, but at no prevail.
As far as Afar and Somali, this is a project from higher up in Addis. The've literary openly spoken about the strategic location of the Somali region, and they are just executing their vision of removing us from our land.
Regarding the sustainability of the region, the area we're speaking of is solely inhabited by Somalis, hence why it's only Somali suffering, being killed and displaced.
We're trying to defend ourselves, and besides the locals facing the enemies on our own, we can't do much. We even tried sending regional forces there, but Cagjar has been warned by his 'colleagues' in Addis to not meddle there.
In fact, what started this a couple days ago was the gov't sending thousands of national army trops there. We expressed our situation and wanted a political end to the problems, as we've had enough. A meeting was even arranged between the locals and army representatives, when protests happened in border area. Right after, they began killing the civilians due to their manifestations. At least 15-20 casualties.
The sinister plans of the ethiopian regime, remains the same as its ever been, since they began occupying our land.
Let them take it, these African countries keep playing around. Pay them back for their infrastructure with interest or its theirs. China is not running a make-a- wish foundationThe worse part for Djibouti is it was built with Chinese Loans.
And if you search up what China does to countries that don't keep up repayments

Cagjar was hugging Afar president not long ago
As I said in the post you quoted, expect nothing of sanity.
I don't personally pay much attention to Cagjar, since he's installed by the same regime we're fighting against. They all belong to the same party, so they most likely share the same ideology.
Him hugging the Afar president, won't change much. In fact, he just meet with the president of Oromia in Jigjiga yesterday, despite all of our problems with that state. Hence, why I don't think it makes difference whether they have a close relations or not.
Regarding sending forces there, technically he can't do so, due to formal procedures as stipulated by 'ethiopian laws'. But no one follows them, and only those that aren't allied with the federal gov't will face repercussions. Afar have been cosy with the regime, as they participated in the Tigray war, and will be treated differently.
However, sometimes when Afars do target Somalis; some forces are sent there. Though, not to fight, but to keep the calm of the region. If Afar militias and forces do attack the Somali forces, they will not hesitate to hit back. But like always, the fed gov't will tell us to leave the region and make us vulnerable to Afar attacks again.
Who caresThis is bad news for Djbouti and also conflict in Ethiopia will further escalate![]()
i don’t get it, what did u think i mean bro ?
i don’t get it, what did u think i mean bro ?
i’m referring to the Afar federal state
Kkkkk u didn't mention Berbera port have u given up on ictiraafland and wave the blue flag now kkkkWhy would we be against it when it pushes Ethiopia to diversify their imports/exports to Kenya & Somalia
Shouldn't fingers be pointed to the so called Somali government in Ethiopia who represent these people and meant to protect them
As for Djbouti if it does impact trade then it will lead to chaos as government revenue will reduce. This will fuel a potential civil war
