Roman glass has also been found in the northeast of Somalia. The northeast of Somalia was known to the Romansas the Cape of Spices. This may be because Indian traders brought their spices here in exchange for Roman glass and olive oil.

Djibouti is literally becoming the new Dubai soon. It’s a process but they have natural resources and with a small population they can pull it off.

It’d be very difficult for Djibouti to rejoin Somalia due to the share the country with Afars and Arabs.
Rejoin Somalia?
When was Djibouti ever part of Somalia?

Djiboutians are too proud to want to rely on a more united Somalia but the truth is that they won't be able to handle France, Ethiopia, China etc only themselves.

I doubt they'll ever join us though.

I think you guys are underestimating Canfar these people will not be content with this setup for long. How many presidents until its an Canfar in office 1 maybe 2 at best.

The question is would a Djiboutian prefer an Canfar over other Somalis? The answer is absolutely I hope that answers your questions @MadMullah99 Djibouti is a lost cause.

If you wanted them to come back you would need to develop much further than them to entice them to come back. You could even get some Canfar votes if you promise to support their secession from Ethio-Eritrea ofc when its time to give back their half of Djibouti you would backstab them :icon e confused:

Boqor of Boqors. The man your wife fantasises of.
Why would Djibouti want to Join a country that has been a fail state for many years?
We have been a failed state but our neighbour Djibouti also looks like a failed state with not a single skyscraper on sight.

My understanding is that nothing is possible without Greater Somalia.
