Discrimination was illegal in Somalia?

My mom told me in the siyaad barre days if a dude called a bantu a "dirty jar33r" or "ad00n" or some other kind of racist insult, he'd face some kind of punishment and in some instances he could possibly be locked up.

This can't be true right?

It probably is and besides I don't think the generation during that time wasn't that racist.

That rule should come back and be applied to Qabils also, 60% of Somalis would be locked up especially through Social media, needs be a severe intervention cuz it's getting out of control now
