I am afraid the freaks on here will target the girl, and also that it can turn into gossip.
But imagine dirac material turned into this kind of dress;

But at the same time, the dress structure looks western? Looks like the type of dresses you find with Valdirin a designer.
The structure is very similar so what gave the Nigerian a monopoly on a structure thatβs actually originally Western?
Nigerians seem to have used their native material and have fashioned it into this structure with a corset underneath.
Although I donβt agree that Nigerians should have a monopoly on this since if I decided to use normal material it would be a normal Western dress like above but I think Somalis should respect the way our dresses are traditionally made and steer clear of West Africans accusing us of copying them. Last time I was on Twitter, Nigerian twitter was cooking a group of girls from Guinea who decided to wear their exact dress with the materials and everything the Gelle head wrap, it was cringe to witness.
