Even though Irish were slaves, this woman desperately wanted to hide it. In the guise of “disrespectful to black slaves”, when in reality she didn’t want to call her ancestors slaves.

Whereas certain xaliimos wouldn’t bat an eye when calling their great grandfather’s slaves.

I’ll use this girl’s excuse about how it’s disrespectful to real slaves by larping as descendants of slaves whenever I come by one :mjpls:

It seems that blm xalimos are the ones promoting this slavery thing in Libya as well. A video of a somali girl who got kidnapped by chadians and who was asking for her mum to send her ransom was posted in a xalimo's tweet. She called the girl a slave like 5 times in a single tweet. Crying about slavery is a xalimo blm thing. Wanting to have a history of opression is a blm thing as well. I haven't seen someone wanting to be a slave so much before.

Funny thing was that her twitter bg had white dudes working in a field while a black dude stood behind them with a belt.

I know, I saw so many of them doing that.

I saw this other girl tweeting about "Somalians are being sold as slaves in libya" and some other stuff. This actually saddened me because I'm a pretty prideful guy and seeing my own people single out somalis as slaves, twisting and bending the truth as much as they could to make them seem pathetic for sympathy and pity from madows just didn't sit right with me.

I actually support fighting for black lives and minorities and stuff like that. But lying and saying somalis are slaves when thousands of somali freedom fighters died just to be never called that is just heartbreaking and frustrating

Most of these guys are just kidnapped people who get tortured for ransom. Its disgusting to paint them as slaves. Just to get pity from madows.

Being a slave is one of the most embarrassing things ever, I don't blame her for lying.

Black Americans take pride in movies like '12 years a slave' 'the Help' 'Django Unchained'

Blacks are the only ones that take pride in being slaves
Plenty of cadaans, chiinese, mayans were but you never hear it, alot of white egyptians were also mamluk slaves

To have survived getting sold/kidnapped from your home land, hundred years of the most brutal form of slavery and another 150 years of discrimination, abuse, state sponsored terrorism etc proves that black Americans are remarkable and their perseverance is unmatchable in human history. They have nothing to be ashamed about, but those who constantly think they are better because they didn't go through such experience have everything to be ashamed about. You guys can do better :)

Hahaha, I’m liking the passive aggressiveness here.

I don’t think I’m better than anyone just because my ancestors were luckier.

But don’t act like surviving through all that is something remarkable that could only be done by a single race.

Anyone could do that. The better term would be to ‘suffer’ through all that.

Humans a very strong will to live, we can endure anything. I’m sure somalis and almost all people have gone through just as hard or even harder experiences in history.

I don’t know where you got the idea that I felt better than anyone, but I’m just saying that somalis shouldn’t be lying about slavery just to get some sympathy points.

If you don’t think the same then you need to re-evaluate your values.

I understand you'll point brothers, our problem is we as somalis tend to be extreme in things we do. Those people who insist on making false history and desperately trying to seek validation aren't even doing it for the right reasons, I think it's mostly due to seeking attention. However, I also often come across somalis making gut wrenching racist comments on slavery and people of bantu origins. I believe we can be proud of our culture, history, country and still have love for other everyone else. :)

If you asked Xalimos to choose between Jannah and Slavery they’d pick Slavery. If you think about it Slavery in it’s purest form is domination and control(forcefully).

The female psychology mind likes to be physically dominated it in fact turns them on. It’s called
Algolagnia which means stimulation or arousal to physical pain.
