There's some good news, but it also shows that the government tends to react rather than act proactively. They prefer staying in bases and don't bother trying to stop Al-Shabaab's war capabilities until after the group attacks and takes over villages. Then they suddenly remember they have soldiers.
Unlike al shabaab, no footage is ever shown with these posts, so the truthfulness of all this is up in the air aswell.
They should mop up central somali asap. I can understand struggling in the south but AS is on the back foot in central. Cut off any supply line and move in at all fronts. Blitzkrieg them and bomb their strongholds.
