You'd be suprised how many closeted people there are back home and in the diaspora. I've got messages from closeted Somali men who were married and I just feel bad for them.

I think people shouldn't be forced into a life of unhappiness, some of the disfunction between the genders with regard to marriage could be due to some Somalis repressing their sexuality.
