Why do our politicians always look like they're out on a sight seeing trip whenever they get invited to tours of factories or construction sites in China, Germany etc?

Never see them actually interested in their machinery or know-how.

No doubt they're there to beg for charity development projects again.

If only they requested for technology transference like the Ethiopians are doing in light manufacturing.

Half a billion dollars might get us a new shiny port or it could build 100 factories run by Chinese companies and employing tens of thousands of Somalis.
