Very smart move by Denmark, 'pragmatic realism' is a good foreign policy to work with a 'world' as it is and slowly 'influence' your 'values' over time not in big 'momentus rush' like america did to iraq-afghanistan or does to other countries.
Always remember a bad system beats no system in place, it's best to help slowly change a bad system thru security ties and trade pressure. The only places Denmark should be careful with is places founded thru violence as these if they grow will spread out their violence like north korea-iran-afghanistan-eritrea-somaliland-south sudan, unless they restart from scratch all becuz of 'fear of internal violence' if built thru violence, u will be toppled thru violence so their only policy can be to spread violence and hope their locals are kept occupied.
The reasons why they banned weapons sales in the first place are still there and nothing changed. Seems like Denmark wants a few billions from the gulf states.
