Yes because we were told to unite with SNM. We trained the SNM the battle strategy which was to open up two war fronts on Siyad to expend his military. Mudug and North were the active war zones. The problem was political difference not Military objective. Majerten wanted the battle in Mudug to remain 'open space and conventional' style since this is our strength in military. The Isaaq prefer 'hit n run' in the towns of Burco and Hargeisa not 'open warfare' as they're weak in conventional war. We accommodated that and said 'tarikh uma lihid' wa wax la gartay, we don't care.
