The Somali owned airlines that currently fly between Dubai and Puntland are unreliable. FlyDubai providing direct flights to Puntland would be fantastic!

Madaxweyne Deni is off to a great start. He also met with with the folks over at DP-World to discuss Bosaso port project and they have come to conclusion to continue the expansion of the port!

Yes, they fly out from some EU countries (Austria & Italy and a few others).

FlyDubai is owned by Emirates now...

When I booked my flight to Hargeisa on the emorates website I took an Emirates plan from London to Dubai then from Dubai you obviously board the FlyDubai plane

Note: don't book FlyDubai from Dubai or Hargeisa separately as their baggage Allowance is only 20Kg.

Air Arabia (but from Sharjah) gives you 40kg Max Same with Daalo

They don't fly out from Amsterdam, Germany and London. It's useless to us. No added value

One thing im still confused on is that Berbera and Bosaaso seals were signed a few months from each other & it's been about 2 years but haven't heard anything from Bosaaso whereas Berbera has been undergoing changes from machines / systems / structures have been going in.

Tell your Leader to sort that out, I'm sure people in Bosaaso do have questions about the deal sheer seeing on the news what's happening in BERBERA

I'm not point scoring, in want you guys to do well as Economic Growth / Developement helps us all, we can all milk Ethiopia for logistics cost plus develop our own manufacturing

And just today

The UAE wants to stifle Somaliland, Puntlands and all of Somalias development long term and here you are walking into their trap. Political stability should be achieved before making deals you'll later regret with foreign entities

Remember a few months ago when they put out a press release stating Somalia should not drill it's oil? You were crushing them at the time but seems like yall have amnesia. Now giving them control of your ports for 30+ years? Sad

Imagine allowing a competitor to manage your ports. What could go wrong?

I don't get Somalis who think lizard eating khaleejis have their interest at heart. Arabs are more evil than Europeans on average ask the thousands of Somalis born in the Middle East deported from there despite even their parents being born there.

They're so desprate for development, they're willing to do anything

If they're fine with bad deals, at least make them with non hostile nations who don't benefit from your instability

You have a point but you're quite biased. But you must agree that Somaliland has been developing fast some this deal has been signed as now interest from outside came in

Most importantly for the local people the Somaliland shilling had been strengthening against the dollar with today being at 9.3/4K
Inflation been going down from 15 to 7%

Only reason for why in say you're biased is that Djibouti has long benefited from Berbera not being developed and now that it is being some of the uniqueness of it will go away.

Be worried also for the Chinese Debt Trap, as Djibouti is starting to owe millions to the Chinese

I don't root against fellow somalis so let's cut that shit out. Berbera long term is not a threat to us, we both know that.

You agreed with my point and then accuse me of bias lool

Making deals with gulf countries who want the status quo to remain will come back to bite you in the ass.
