We'd be the 85th largest country in the world, if Khaatumo joined us, at a whopping 212,510 Km² .
Bear in mind, that Majeerteen land alone in what is now called Somalia, is approximately 150,000 Km² (not factoring in DDSi, Kismaayo etc). Sanaag, Bari, Nugaal and North Mudug is far larger than that.
Forget the large land-mass, we have a huge coastline, and large amounts of natural resources, multiple Airports and not one but two Ports. Finally, Puntland is already using a modern taxation system and has a state bank since 2021.
And most importantly, no foreign troops or terrorists controlling our land, by the grace of Allah and thanks to the blood shed by our brave soldiers. Ilaahay dadkaan ishooda hanaga leexiyo.
Believe me, all we need is the right leadership and we are set for a bright future.

With the UAE think about long term and not short term they are cancer and are soon going to fight with Oman and then th UAE diplomats will force you to choose sides like they did in 2017 and then which one will you choose?
They will fight over this: the Musandam and Madha enclaves of Oman inside UAE that is a thorn inside of UAE
Before UAE was a British Protecorate it was a Omani Protecorate and in 1971 when UAE was gaining independence Sheikh Zayed needed the permission of Oman
That's why I'm done listening or caring about what the opposition politicians think. We've heard it all before. They all sell the same lies until they sit on that kursi and they get possessed with the spirit of kacaan/unuka leh.

It has been a mogadishu political culture since 2009 when Abdillahi Yusuf resigned to carry on the war on PL that Abdiqasim Salat started in the early 2000s era. This time Deni has said enough is enough and cut a new course(PL first) rather then old cut ties and replace the govt posture since 2009. Bright future is indeed now awaiting us minus the political stalemate hell. The only reason Somali oppose it is they know they are the dead weight holding us back from achieving glory. They know if PL pulls out from the centralised republic, they will revert to chaos like 91 or stateless vacuum like GM and HS is. It is known when PL leave in 91, Somalis left with us and when we returned in 2004 to 2009 all Somalis come back.

Are you offended by the truth? If Puntland is going to be recognised, Somaliland would have been recognised a long time ago.
With the exception of South Sudan and Eritrea no one wants new African states

Taiwan isn’t recognized and look at what it’s achieved. Puntland has higher GDP growth YOY than the rest of Somalia.
I am happy to hear that and I hope they achieve more.
You have good intentions and that’s all that matters, if This goes through, it’ll be bittersweet. Somalia achieved “1m1v”, but at what cost. PL has no choice when it’s confronted by a dictator who dismantles all anti-transgression bodies that would hold him accountable.
SNM-Land is land-expansionist, violent, terrorist project that faced fierce opposition from the people of SSC, of course nobody would ever recognise that place. Puntland has no such issues, and no land-disputes, except for when criminals try to claim OUR land.
You still have the problem that absolutely no one wants to recognise another African state there is the consensus to maintain colonial borders. I mentioned already the only exceptions are Eritrea and South Sudan.
Recognition isn't some sort of candy given as a reward there'd have to be a big big incentives for the global powers to decide to recognise Puntland. South Sudan is in an awful state and yet it was recognised so being peaceful isn't a main requirement.

We can easily claim independence, and act like we are an independent nation-state, Puntland already has deals with foreign powers. Even if it takes us centuries, waa inaa baxno, even if in name only. As for 'Somalia', if what's left of it, tries to stop us, with attacks, we will go to war, and our track record speaks for itself.
I think it's high-time, that everyone focuses on their own turf.
What if Somaliland and Puntland recognize each other as independent countries?
Puntland should not negotiate with the terrorist entity called Somaliland, that is poised to lose even more land they claim (Awdal).
Jeegaan claim others lands thats why they didnt get it, plus Puntland most of time wanted to build Somalia, now it seems you guys can go ahead.
