Puntland has a different understanding to federalism then the other states. Puntland sees themselves as much more important than the Federal government. Puntland should re-join the fold to help limit the powers of the FGS rather than running away from the uncertainty when it arrives. It’s better to face your problems head on rather than running away from it.

Jubbaland is much different from Puntland. It does not enjoy the autonomy & peace that Puntland enjoys. It was built much later than PL. Puntland can afford to act as an independent pseudo republic because they have the resources and time. Jubbaland’s goals right now is to take advantage of our current stakeholds within the FGS and monetize those positions to generate revenue and power back to the state.

Jubbaland is fighting an uphill battle with its hands tied behind its back. After the 5 years of economic blockade placed by the tyrant Farmaajo our relationship with the current FGS is at an all time high. in the end victory will be ours in’sha’allah

HSM promised them that each FMS will get 10s of millions of dollars if they sign it, since IMF and other lending agencies want united FGS & FMS and that they should be in an agreement over their roles, and most of them have 1 year left, so they're only thinking about the short term.
IMF wants that responsibilities of each FMS & FGS is demarcated and constitutional review process is completed.
The problem is that those states signed away every thing without even negotiating, they only wanted money without looking at the big picture.

If PL is firm on isolating itself from the Federal government it created JL is more then willing to represent Daroods with its own ideas hope it works out for you
