The newer generation Democrats are too left, so they don't know what to draw from other than Kamala, who is the liberal that the establishment needs. They want systemic Liberals, not leftists, and you can't find many of them. The Democrats have always been effed since after the Bill Clinton days. Overall, they're fucked regardless since Bill Clinton and before too. Always been pieces of shits, like the Republicans. It's just that during the Bill Clinton days, Democrats had a favorable reception (besides the scandal, which was a personal thing).

Kamala was an utterly evil character who supported Israel. That woman never stood for anything. The two women that almost became presidents were arguably worse scum than the men. Hillary Clinton is destroying a whole country in North Africa, and Kamala Harris, who is the personification of elite interests mixed-race token, a mix of Obama, Hillary, and coasted mostly on what Joe Biden did, that people were tired of. She speaks like a corporate CEO who pretends to relate to people and says what her personal polling told her was trending. No one wants that. You got to suck ass if Trump, the most absurd guy wins over you. Kamala should have won easily. People were desperate to have Trump thrown out of politics for good, and she did not punch above the luxury of free support, which was nearly a win.
