If I was him I'd resign before they impeach my ass and then run for 2024.
Instead of trying to win he should use it to gain leverage over the Republican party while pocketing as much money as possible.
He needs it now that all those states will be coming after him. NY State attorneys will have a department just focusing on Trump if they haven't already.

Impeachment alone is not going stop trump from running.
The Senate has to vote to convict him and separately vote to bar him from holding federal office again

No he will still be entitled to a 200k a year pension and 1 million dollars in travel expenses and a full protection of the secret service for life
No he will lose those and plus he can't run for office ever again

trump lost the election by a thin margin. if he handled covid better he would have gotten more votes. it was his election to lose and he lost it.
