What do you guys Italians did another estimation of Somali territories in 1939 they also include parts of galbeed in this estimation

And 600,000 in Somaliland, and maybe 500,000 in Kenya
It means that the number of Somalis was approximately two and a half million And the number increases greatly except in the sevens, because the number of Somalis in 1960 was three million

It’s not really another estimation, just based off the 1931 + population growth rate

Are jaarso and aksho and gargera Somalis ?
I think they are mixed or Somalis who have merged with the Oromo. Many of them do not speak Somali And don't look Somali

I remember Geri koombe numbers were about 66k and the rest is jarso

No wonder Hiiraan was one of the original 8 provinces. The Cadaan people made gobols by population. Now you have a massive settlement like Haramka in Lower Shabelle with probably a 100k living there and its not even a district but elsewhere, theres a village with 100 dwellings and jiingad full of reer baadiyo and its a district.
