DEBATE: Is Islam Pro-Technology?

His take is terrible tbh
One of the reason why the downfall of gold age of islam happen was how muslim didn't adjust to printing press as they believe it was wrongful to use printing machines but to stick with the old fashion way of writing. This catapulted the European civilization and its only reason why english tookover the arab language and now is considered the language that we all communicate with.

Definitely pro technology, and the only way for the Muslim world to rise, and take its rightful place among nations, is to take a lead in science and technology like it did in the 11th century in maths, medicine, and arts. The premise of the hadith: Seek knowledge even if you have to travel to China.

I thought it was 'cos Muslims started behaving like animals with dynasties, monarchies, debauchery, decadence, and degeneracy. The fact that Mongols burnt down Baqdad with all the knowledge along with libraries did not help. Thanks to Harun al Rashid, who rescued some, started transferring knowledge into Arabic, with the establishment of the first library in the world in 7alab, Syria.

Postscript:
You ought to admire their 'akhlaq' in debating, a lesson for the online crowd to emulate.
