Death as a tool to scare people

Why is it often some religious people use death as a tool to scare people into becoming more religious.. The other day I was watching some big bearded fella driving a corpse into a fridge but he first had to use the corpse as an example of what's awaiting us all and how we should behave etc.. I am all for us behaving or becoming better Muslims on daily basis but isn't there a better way to send the message than use a dead corps to convince us and make us behave better?

I'm tired of Muslim preachers using death as a tool to scare people.. This is just wrong walahi.. What's the meaning of scaring people into submission?

Death is the reality of life sxb and will make you realise what you need to do. Life is just an illusion and will make you forget yourself

Brother @Samaalic Era I understand that but our believe in Allah shouldn't be based on fear in my opinion but rather on choice of and a believe of all what he created between earth and heaven..

I understand where your coming from sxb. Emaan should be based on both Hope and Fear. There always be a balance

True brother... We shouldn't be living in fear.. Islam is a blessing not a fear based cult. Some guys are taking it a bit too far.. Showing us death people is also not respectful towards the dead.

Everyone fears death for different reasons. The point of spiritual practice is death before you actually die. You must become adept with the inner world through contemplation rather than get a rude awakening upon death.

They should love Allah and strive to meet Allah and embrace death as it's inevitable, as long as they practise of course.

Also all those islamic dacwah videos where a man is screaming about things to fear and there is somber"AaahhHaaHHhhaaaHHH" singing playing in the background. Sometimes they even edit horror images into it.

Do we really need all that to worship Allah?

But humans are fickle. U can't win thru love, its only fear, as humans are designed to self preserve.

As the driving tool I mean, they should know about punishment but it shouldn't be the key force.

Some lady was preaching on how our hijabs shouldn’t smell good and we should always always try not to smell nice. Our religion emphasizes on being clean and smelling good. I don’t know where they get the idea of not being put together means you’re going to Jannah.
